Anthony Giallombardo, OD

Anthony Giallombardo, O.D. is an owner/operator of Ravine Eye Center and Eye Group in Monmouth County, NJ where he practices the full scope of optometry including ocular disease, myopia control, dry eye disease, and glaucoma. An experienced surgical co-manager, Dr. Giallombardo is also a contact lens fitting specialist and Certified Adjustment Specialist for Light Adjustable Lenses at VisionLOCK. Dr. Giallombardo’s approach to surgical co-management is rooted in working closely with surgeons to provide optimal care and the best possible results for each patient.

Dr. Giallombardo trained extensively at the James A. Hailey Veteran’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida where he treated complicated cases involving double vision and traumatic brain injuries. Additionally, he has broad experience fitting specialty contact lenses including ortho-k, sclerals, RGPs, multi-focals and soft lenses.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Kean University with a BS in Biology, Dr. Giallombardo graduated with clinical honors from Salus University, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry, received notable awards for his excellence in the clinical environment, and served as a member of the Lions Club, through which he provided optometric screenings for surrounding communities.

Dr. Giallombardo is a member of the American Optometric Society and the NJ Society of Optometric Physicians.
