Brenden White, OD
Salt Lake City native Dr. Brenden White founded InVision Eye Health in 2001 and leads the practice in providing comprehensive eye care, including glaucoma and cataract management, and a state-of-the-art dry eye treatment program. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Pacific University College of Optometry, Dr. White completed fellowship training in anterior segment disease and surgical co-management at Omni Eye Specialists in Denver, an experience that has led him to work side-by-side with ophthalmologists throughout his career.
As a practitioner who has not only co-managed over 1000 cataract surgeries, but has also experienced the surgery himself, Dr. White is a compassionate surgical co-manager and a Certified Light Adjustment Specialist for Light Adjustable Lenses (LALs) at VisionLock. With a commitment to solid relationships and pioneering care, Dr. White says, “LALs are a fantastic opportunity for patients to take advantage of the most modern surgical lens replacement technology. I enjoy working with LAL patients to help them achieve the most functional, clear, and binocular vision and gain the highest level of benefits from this exciting new technology.”
Dr. White earned a B.S in Vision Services from Pacific University before earning his Doctor of Optometry from the school’s College of Optometry. In addition to his fellowship training, Dr. White completed internships at the Naval Hospital Oak Harbor and in pediatric eye care and strabismus at The Children’s Eye Doctors in Washington.
Consistently at the forefront of innovation, Dr. White participated in some of the earliest clinical work with modern day scleral lenses, including working directly with Pat Caroline and Randy Kojima. He is also active in his professional community, serving 9 years on the Utah Optometric Association Board of Directors, including one year as President and 9 years on the Utah Optometry Licensing Board, with two years as Chairman.
