Yixing He, OD

Yixing He, O.D. is the owner of Eyemazing Optometric Care PC in Queens, NY where he serves a broad population of patients and practices the full scope of optometric care, including ocular surface disease, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye management, and innovative myopia control solutions. An experienced surgical co-manager of cataract surgery, Dr. He is a contact lens fitting specialist, and Certified Adjustment Specialist for Light Adjustable Lenses at VisionLOCK. Dr. He has co-managed surgical care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics, and believes that surgical collaboration requires interdependent teamwork, in which everyone’s skills
come together to ensure a smooth patient experience at every stage of care.

Previously the staff optometrist at a pediatric ophthalmology practice for 7+ years, Dr. He specialized in managing ocular disease and providing pre- and post- operative care for cataract patients. While regularly collaborating with leading pediatric ophthalmologists in the NYC area, Dr. He strengthened his proficiency in managing pediatric eye conditions, including specialty contact lens fittings, congenital cataracts, lens subluxation, amblyopia, strabismus, anterior segment/surface diseases, and refractive errors.

Dr. He graduated from St. John’s University with a BS in Biology / Physical Science and earned his Doctor of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry. In addition to his education and clinical experience, Dr. He has specialized training in contact lens fittings including hard to fit RGP, OrthoK, and Sceral lenses.

Deeply committed to community service, Dr. He continues to participate in outreach programs and offers free vision screenings to underserved populations in the area. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
