Lindsay Estel, OD, FAAO
Lindsay Estel, OD provides comprehensive non-surgical eye care in Connecticut and recently received the prestigious designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), signifying her lifelong commitment to staying at the top of her field.
Dr. Estel has a broad range of experience, treating eye issues including glaucoma, ocular surface disease, retinal conditions, binocular vision, accommodation, and TBI and performing contact lens fittings and vision therapy. Dedicated to practicing the highest level of optometry, she treats patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
An experienced surgical co-manager of cataract surgeries and refractive surgeries, Dr. Estel is also a contact lens specialist and Certified Adjustment Specialist for Light Adjustable Lenses with VisionLOCK. She believes that medical care is a team effort and surgical collaboration is necessary to create the best visual outcomes for patients.
Dr. Estel graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a BS in Biology and a minor in
Business Administration. She continued her education at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was a teaching assistant, assisting students with questions about blocking, tracing, cutting, and edging lenses and graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate in Optometry.
