Sheena LaTorre, OD

Sheena LaTorre, O.D. is a highly skilled optometrist with nearly 20 years of experience as an eye care professional. She provides comprehensive care at Optic One Family Eye Care in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Bringing a deep understanding of vision sciences to her practice, Dr. LaTorre treats the full spectrum of optometric issues including glaucoma, macular degeneration, ocular emergencies, diabetic retinopathy, retinal disorders and contact lens related ocular diseases including corneal ulcers, inflammation, and corneal abrasions.

Dr. LaTorre has been providing perioperative care for procedures including refractive correction, retinal surgeries, and cataract surgeries throughout her career. She is a contact lens fitting specialist, and a Certified Light Adjustment Specialist for Light Adjustable Lenses (LAL) at VisionLOCK. With decades of experience in postoperative cataract care, Dr. LaTorre says, “I particularly enjoy the customization aspect of LAL, which provides a high-quality lens that can be adjusted to meet each patient’s unique needs.” As a collaborator, she emphasizes working together as a team pre- and post-operatively, to provide the highest quality of eyecare and ensure great surgical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and vision results.

Graduating Cum Laude from Shippensburg University with a B.S. in Biology and as a member of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, Dr. LaTorre continued her education at Salus University where she earned her Doctor of Optometry. Clinical honors and rotations in anterior segment disease, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration formed the foundation of the compassionate, knowledgeable care that she has provided to patients throughout her career.
